On Thursday, October 21, 2021, the statewide Pre-College and Youth Outreach Conference will be hosted virtually. Our theme this year is New Horizons: The Innovation, Resilience, and Perseverance of K-12 Students. Your brand is critical to allowing higher education institutions to connect with pre-college professionals. We would like your organization to partner with us by sponsoring this year’s conference. This will give your organization an opportunity to showcase its own innovations to approximately 300 leaders from various higher education institutions across the state of Michigan.

The annual Pre-College and Youth Outreach Conference brings together leaders in education, workforce development, and government from around Michigan to cast a spotlight on the important role post-secondary institutions and community partners play in promoting college
access. Scholars, researchers, and practitioners will demonstrate the impact of promising approaches to inform, engage, and inspire our nation’s youth to pursue post-secondary education.

This conference is organized and planned by 14 different institutions, organizations, and agencies serving pre-college youth. They include Adrian College, Bowling Green State University, Calvin University, College for Creative Studies, Eastern Michigan University, Grand Valley State University, Lansing Community College, Lawrence Technical University, Michigan State University, Oakland University, the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, Wayne State University, and Western Michigan University, as well as the Michigan Independent Colleges and Universities Association.

If you or your organization have any questions, please contact a Steering Committee member at Michigan State University, Jessica Bilodeau at bilodj32@msu.edu or (517) 884-1425. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

Sponsorships must be received by September 15th to ensure that acknowledgments of your support or advertisement are included in the conference materials.
